Lafayette Volleyball wins the home opener against Hickory Flat 3-0 on Monday, bringing their record to 3-3 on the season. The Commodores will now face Center Hill on Thursday.

The Volleyball team swept the Rebels as the Commodores had early domination in the game by Sydney Cregar having 7 Kills, 6 Digs, and 12 Assist. With the help of Lindsee Cassada with 7 Kills, 1 Ace, and 1 Dig in the match. Lafayette won each set by over 10 points. The first set 25-11, second set 25-13 and the third set 25-14.

The young squad created a strong team unity after early struggles at the Back To School Bash in Jackson earlier in the week. The Commodores were helped by the great student section due to free admission for students adding to the home court advantage.

The 3-3 Commodores will face off vs Center Hill on Thursday as the Commodores will try to build off of momentum from tonight’s match.
